Mental Health Awareness Month

Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness Month? Each year, millions of American’s live with a mental illness. During May, organizations around the country raise awareness about mental health to fight stigma, provide support, educate, and advocate.

Over the past year, COVID-19 has negatively impacted people across the country. From those grieving the loss of loved ones, the stress of losing jobs, isolation of not being able to see family and friends, and creating barriers to accessing supports and services. Now more than ever it’s important to raise awareness of mental health issues, and provide supports and information.
