Hosted by HCPBS (Home and Community Positive Behavior Support Network)
Many autistic children, teenagers, and adults and those with other conditions face sensory challenges that significantly impact how they feel and function at home, in school, and in the community. This FREE webinar, presented by Lindsel Biel, OT, will provide a greater understanding of underlying sensory processing difficulties that frequently drive unwanted behaviors; provide practical strategies for managing sensitivities to noise, touch, visuals, and other sensory inputs; and discuss ways to increase self-regulation and avoid overstimulation.
The webinar is free and is open to professionals and families. We hope you will join us!
This event is sponsored by Home and Community Positive Behavior Support Network, Parent to Parent USA, and The Partnership for People with Disabilities at Virginia Commonwealth University.
